Buying and Selling Properties in Spain

Whether you're buying or selling, we protect the transaction from both ends.
When you buy, we inspect the property on site before any contract is signed — reviewing the legal and urban reality of the asset, not just the paperwork the seller provides. We handle NIE, legal due diligence, contract negotiation, notary representation and tax filings.
When you sell, the process requires a different level of care. We carry out a full legal review before the transaction moves forward: including any New Build Declarations (Declaración de Obra Nueva) that must be regularised before the deed can be signed. We scrutinise every fiscal withholding the buyer's side applies to confirm it is legally justified and not inflated. And once the deed is signed, we analyse the full settlement to recover any amount you are owed. In most cases, there is money to recover and we make sure you get it back.

Spanish Inheritance

Dealing with an inheritance in Spain from abroad is one of the most stressful things a family can face. The deadlines are strict, the taxes are significant, and the paperwork is entirely in Spanish. Mar handles every step personally — from the initial asset inventory to the final tax settlement — so your family doesn't have to navigate the Spanish system alone during an already difficult time. We work in English and German throughout.

Spanish Wills

A Spanish will is one of the most important things you can do for your family before you need it. Without one, your heirs face months of extra paperwork, higher costs and avoidable delays, all while dealing with a loss. We draft it, sign it before a Spanish notary and register it correctly. If you already have a will in your home country, that's a good start: but it almost certainly doesn't cover your Spanish assets the way it should. We'll tell you honestly whether you need one here.
